How to use the degassing caps

A variety of types of degassing caps are used, such as caps with the release mechanism built-in (Photo A), and those where the regular spray button doubles as the degassing button (Photo B) (Photo C) (Photo D), depending on the manufacturer and the product’s characteristics. The primary types used on Mandom products are described below.

Be sure to read the degassing warnings and instructions listed on Mandom spray cans before you use a degassing cap.

Always release residual gas in a well-ventilated outdoor location where there is no risk of fire.
